DETAIL
The build
WHY IT EXISTSBuilt for wet roots and off-camber climbs, where grip matters more than anything the spec sheet can show.
Weight is the whole story here. Stock, the truck would tip before it would grip. Ballast went into the wheels first, then low in the chassis, until it settled at three kilos and stopped picking up a front wheel on every climb.
Matched dampers kept loading the same corner. Asymmetric rates finally cancelled the twist out.
The diagonal torque twist took a season to solve. Matched dampers all round kept loading the same corner; asymmetric rates front-left to rear-right finally cancelled it out.
It is slow, deliberately. On wet roots that is the only setting that works.

Modifications
SIGNIFICANT WORK ONLYBALLAST
Wheel and low-chassis ballast to 3 kgAdded in stages until the front wheel stopped lifting on climbs. Most of it sits in the wheels.
SUSPENSION
Asymmetric damper ratesFront-left paired with rear-right to cancel the diagonal torque twist that matched rates kept feeding.
STEERING
40kg servo and reinforced linksThe stock servo stalled under load on off-camber ground. Links replaced at the same time.
